Refund, Return & Exchange Policy

We at Kudej are committed to delivering the highest quality products rooted in purity, tradition, and care. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong, we’re here to make it right.This policy outlines our process for returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds.

1. Return and Exchange Policy

We offer a 5-day return or exchange window from the date of delivery. To be eligible, the product must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition as received
  • In its original packaging with the invoice included
  • Reported for return within 5 days of delivery

Return & Exchange Eligibility (Allowed only in the following cases):

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or leaking
  • You received a wrong product
  • The product was expired at the time of delivery

If your return is accepted, we will arrange a pickup from the same delivery address and inform you of the pick-up schedule.Kindly ensure the product is packed well for return pickup. The return/exchange
shipping cost shall be borne by the customer.

Exchange Timeframe

Once the returned item is received and inspected, a replacement will be dispatched within 3–5 working days.

Non-Eligible Scenarios

Returns or exchanges will not beaccepted if:

  • The product has been used or tampered with
  • The request is made after 5 days of delivery
  • The product was purchased under a discount or clearance sale

2. Refund Policy

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • The refund will be initiated to your original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, wallet, etc.)
  • Refunds typically reflect within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment gateway.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in specific cases such as:

  • Returned item is not in original condition
  • Product is missing parts or is damaged due to customer’s handling

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  • Recheck your bank or wallet account
  • Contact your bank or card company — it may take some time before the refund is officially posted

3. Cancellation:

  • An order cancellation request will be accepted only if we have not yet shipped the product.
  • If a cancellation request is accepted, you are entitled to get a refund of the entire amount.
  • Kudej reserves the right to cancel or refuse to accept any order placed for various reasons, including but not limited to the non-availability of stock, pricing errors, informational errors or problems identified with the personal/financial details provided by the customer.

4. Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Unfortunately, sale or discounted items cannot be refunded.

5. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once received and approved, a gift voucher will be emailed to you. If the item was not marked as a gift or was sent to the gift giver first, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.

6. Cancellations

An order can only be cancelled if it has not been shipped. If approved:

  • A full refund will be issued to the original payment method
  • You’ll be notified via email/SMS regarding the cancellation status

Kudej reserves the right to cancel orders under exceptional circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Incorrect pricing or listing errors
  • Non-serviceable delivery pin codes
  • Payment authorization issues or incomplete information

7. Shipping Returns

If your return is approved, you may be asked to ship the item back to:

  • You will be responsible for paying your own return shipping costs (unless the item is damaged/defective).
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • If the refund is approved, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund amount.
  • We recommend using a trackable courier service or shipping insurance for items over ₹2,000.
